Please Drink Responsibly

The World Pong Tour has encouraged responsible ponging since its inception. The consumption of alcohol has never been required as part of the game. Drinking is purely optional to participate in any of our events. It is encouraged in all of our tournaments that the game cups be filled with water. One of WPT’s main objectives is transforming the popular drinking game into a sport. Drinking is not, nor has ever been necessary to play. If you choose to drink while participating in our event, WPT encourages you to please drink responsibly.

WBPT Waiver

[How WBPT handles 18+ Events] In our 18+ Atlantic City Championship and any 18+ WPT events, players under the age of 21 are given separate wristbands than 21+ players. These players under 21 are NOT allowed to consume or purchase alcohol at the event. These players will be given water or other non-alcoholic beverages to put in their game cups. If a player under 21 is caught drinking in any of our events, the player will be ejected from the event, banned from all future WPT events and prosecuted.

[What things WBPT does to prevent drunk driving & binge drinking] At all of our events, WPT has trained staff that monitor the players and event’s progress. If a player is thought to be over-intoxicated, they will forfeit their games and be asked to leave the event. WPT always asks that you bring a Designated Driver if you choose to drink and we always has a taxi service on standby for tournament participants.
