Sam Pong
Sam Pines started an organized beer pong league while completing his undergraduate degree at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Printing out a weekly league newsletter with team stats and game highlights, this league, known as the Beer Pong Association (BPA), was the spark that propelled the World Pong Tour into existence. Sam graduated Marist College with a BA in Sports Communication and a 'Masters' in Beer Pong.
From 2006-2008, Sam organized regional tours giving away prizes such as trips to Spring Break and cash.
In 2009, Sam took the company to a new level with the inaugural Atlantic City Beer Pong Championship. The tournament was a huge success and Sam decided to host a second national tournament in June 2010. The event doubled in size from year 1 to year 2, and Sam knew that the third AC Championship would be a perfect way to spend the start of summer in 2011.
